(d). Turn the combination switch to the "high
beam lamp"gear, measure the voltage of
the teminal 1 of the left front combination
lamp connectors A28 and A03, and also the
voltage between that and the grounding.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
A28(1) - Grounding Battery volt

A03(1) - Grounding Battery volt

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 5.
No >Repair the harness disconnection between both the left front combination lamp
connector A28 and the right front combination lamp connector A03 and the high beam
lamp fuse.

5. Check harness short circuit to the grounding

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the left front combination lamp connector A28.
(c). Disconnect the right front combination lamp connector A03.

(d). Measure the resistance between both No.1
terminal of the left front combination lamp
connector A28 and No. 1 terminal of the
right front combination lamp connector A03
and the grounding with a multimeter.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is a short circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

A28(1) - Grounding ＞ 1 MΩ
A03(1) - Grounding ＞ 1 MΩ

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 6.
No >Repair the short circuit to ground of the harness between both the left front
combination lamp connector A28 and the right front combination lamp connector A03
and the high beam lamp fuse.
