6. Check the combination switch

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the combination switch connector C16.

(c). Turn the combination switch to the "high 62
beam lamp" gear, and measure that the
continuity between No. 20 terminal and No.
19 terminal of the combination switch shall
be existed.

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 7.
No >Replace the combination switch.

7. Check the harness and the connectors (BCM control unit-combination switch)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the combination switch connector C16.
(c). Disconnect the BCM control unit connector C58.

(d). Measure the resistance according to values
in the table below.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

C16(20) - C58(E7) ＜ 2Ω

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 8.
No >Maintain or replace the harness.

8. Check the harness and the connector (BCM control unit-high beam lamp relay)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the low beam lamp relay connector R2.
(c). Disconnect the BCM control unit connector C57.
