62-368 DIAGNOSIS-LIGHTING SYSTEM
Symptom description:
Whether or not press the brake pedal, both stop lamp and high-mounted stop lamp at two
sides are always on.
Diagnosis Procedure
1. Check the short circuit to the power supply of the harness
(a). Release the brake pedal.
(b). Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between No. 1 terminal of high-mounted
stop lamp connector L01 and the ground.
Standard voltage: (check whether there is
a short circuit)
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
L01(1) - Grounding 0V
(c). Use a multimeter to measure the voltage
between the No.4 terminal of the left rear
combination lamp connector D52 and the
grounding.
Standard voltage: (check whether there is
a short circuit)
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
D52(4) - Grounding 0V
(d). Use a multimeter to measure the voltage
between the No.4 terminal of the right rear
combination lamp connector D54 and the
grounding.
Standard voltage: (check whether there is
a short circuit)
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
D54(4) - Grounding 0V
