(d). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(e). Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between No. 2 terminal of stop lamp
switch C09 and the No. 4 terminal of LR
combination lamp D52, RR combination
lamp D54 and No. 1 terminal of high- 62
mounted stop lamp LO1.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
C09(2) - D52(4) ≤ 2 Ω

C09(2) - D54(4) ≤ 2 Ω

C09(2) - L01(1) ≤ 2 Ω
Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 5.
No >Repair or replace harness.

5. Check harness short circuit to the grounding

(a). Disconnect connector stop lamp switch C09, left combination lamp D52, right
combination D54 and high-mounted stop lamp L01.

(b). Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between No. 1 terminal of connector C09
and the ground.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is a short circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

C09(1) - Grounding ＞ 1 MΩ

(c). Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between No. 4 terminal of connector D52
and the ground.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is a short circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

D52(4) - Grounding ＞ 1 MΩ
