(a) Check wheel speed sensor installation
NOTICE

The installation bolts shall be properly tightened and the sensor installation shall be
level.

04 Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 6.
NO> Repair or replace wheel speed sensor.

6 . Check wheel speed sensor signal terminal

(a) Check wheel speed sensor signal terminal.
NOTICE
Sensor signal should be no scratch or
adsorption of scrap metal 。

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>To step 7.
NO> Clean relevant wheel speed sensor signal terminal.

7 . Check sensor signal gear

(a) Check sensor signal gear .
NOTICE

• Signal gear should be no scratch,
adsorption of scrap metal or foreign
substances.
• If foreign material is removed, check the
output voltage.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>To step 8.
NO> Clean relevant wheel speed sensor signal gear.

8 . Replace ABS/ESP

(a) Replace ABS/ESP.
(b) Use a diagnostic apparatus to perform DTC verification procedures.
(c) Implement the steps to read sensor data stream.
(d) Check whether DTC exists and the data is normal.
