(f) Use a multimeter to measure the voltage
between the pin 1 of brake lamp switch
connector C004 and the ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 4.
NO> Repair or replace harness or connector.

4 . Check brake lamp switch harness.
(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(c) Disconnect connector A006 of ABS/ESP.
(d) Disconnect brake lamp switch connector C004.

(d) Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between the pin 30 of ABS/ESP connector
A006 and the pin 2 of brake lamp switch
connector C004.
