TRANSMISSION（6HP21） - TRANSFER CASE（4WD） 41-49

OVERHAUL

1 . Remove the gear shift motor assembly.

(a) Screw out the retaining bolts.
(b) Take down the gear shift motor assembly.

2 . Remove the rear flange.
(a) Fix the flange with tool, unscrew the flange
fastening nuts, and take out the washers.
(b) Pull out the flange with a puller.
NOTICE

The front driving shaft flange can be removed
in the same way as the rear driving shaft flange.

3 . Remove the rear housing assembly.
(a) Unscrew the transfer case retaining bolts.
(b) Remove the transfer case housing.
