INSTRUMENT PANEL - CONSOLE 83-23
REPLACEMENT
1 . Disconnect the negative cable of the battery
2 . Remove the transmission control
mechanism sleeve
(a) Pull out the gearshift handle ball.
3 . Remove the transmission shifting system
dust cap.
(a) Pry out the gearshift sleeve trim panel.

(b) Disconnect the gear mode select switch
connector and remove the shift cover.
