DIAGNOSIS-SUPPLEMENTAL INFLATABLE RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) 62-15

(b). Use a multimeter to measure the voltage
between the battery positive and negative
electrode.

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter 62
Battery positive
electrode - negative Approx 12V
electrode

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 2.
No >Replace or charge the battery.

2. DTC Test

(a). Turn off the ignition switch and all the
electrical appliances and connect the
vehicle diagnostic device to the diagnose
interface.
(b). With the ignition switch: "ON", read and
clear the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device.
(c). Turn off the ignition switch and all the
electrical appliances and after 3~5 seconds
reset the ignition switch on the "ON" gear.
(d). Read the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device again.

Check if the trouble code exists?
Yes>To step 3.
No >For accidental faults, check whether the plug of the driver airbag pre-tensioner
connector is loosen and eroded.

3. Check the harness disconnection

(a). Disconnect driver safety belt pre-tensioner connector D03 and SRS ECU connector
C27.
