Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 2.
No >Replace or charge the battery.

2. DTC Test

(a). Turn off the ignition switch and all the
electrical appliances and connect the
vehicle diagnostic device to the diagnose
interface.
(b). With the ignition switch: "ON", read and
clear the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device.
(c). Turn off the ignition switch and all the
electrical appliances and after 3~5 seconds
reset the ignition switch on the "ON" gear.
(d). Read the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device again.

Check if the trouble code exists?
Yes>To step 3.
No >For accidental faults, check whether the plug of the personal detection device
connector is loosen and eroded.

3. Check seat weight sensor

(a). Disconnect seat weight sensor connector D08.

(b). Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between No. 2 terminal and No. 1 terminal
of connector D08.
Standard resistance:

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
D08(1) - D08(2) ≥ 1MΩ

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 4.
No >Replace seat weight sensor.
