Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 2.
No >Replace or charge the battery.

2. DTC Test
62

(a). Turn off the ignition switch and all the
electrical appliances and connect the
vehicle diagnostic device to the diag nose
interface.
(b). With the ignition switch: "ON", read and
clear the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device.
(c). Turn off the ignition switch and all the
electrical appliances and after 3~5 seconds
reset the ignition switch on the "ON" gear.
(d). Read the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device again.

Check if the trouble code exists?
Yes>To step3.
No >For accidental faults, check whether the plug of driver side impact sensor connector is
loosened and eroded.

3. Check the harness disconnection

(a). Disconnect driver side impact sensor connector D61 and SRS ECU connector C27.

(b). Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between No. 1 and No. 2 terminal of driver
OFF
side impact sensor connector D61 and
C27
No.26 and No. 27 terminal of SRS ECU
