(d). Read the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic device again.
(e). Enter to other control modules (combination meter, body control module), check if
there is CAN communication error.

Check if the trouble code exists?
Yes>To step2. 62
No >For accidental faults, check whether the plug of the airbag control unit connector is
loosen and eroded.

2. Check CAN communication line

(a). Disconnect SRS control unit and combination meter connector.
(b). Use a multimeter to check if the line between No. 15 and No. 16 pin of combination
meter connector C23 and No. 33 and No. 34 pin of SRS control unit connector C27
is existed, and no short circuit to ground and power supply exist.
(c). Check the resistance between No.33 and No. 34 pin of SRS control unit C27.
Resistance:60Ω

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 3.
No >Repair CAN communication line or replace CAN terminal resistance.

3. Check SRS control unit

(a). Replace with a new SRS control unit.

(b). Connect vehicle diagnostic device, read
DTC trouble code under all working
conditions.

Yes>Find the causes from other symptoms.
No >Replace with a new SRS control unit.
