62-20 DIAGNOSIS-SUPPLEMENTAL INFLATABLE RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS)

4. Check the harness disconnection

(a). Disconnect seat weight sensor connector D08 and SRS ECU connector C27.

(b). Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between No. 1 terminal of driver safety
belt lock switch connector D08 and No. 40
terminal of SRS ECU connector C27.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
D08(1) - C27(40) ≤ 2 Ω

(c). Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between No. 2 terminal of driver safety
belt lock switch connector D08 and the
grounding.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

D08(2) - Grounding ≤ 2 Ω

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 5.
No >Repair or replace harness.

5. Check seat weight sensor short circuit to ground

(a). Disconnect seat weight sensor connector D08.
