5. Check driver safety belt pre-tensioner short circuit to the power supply

(a). Disconnect driver safety belt pre-tensioner connector D03.
(b). Disconnect ignition switch connector C13.

(c). Use a multimeter to measure the resistance 62
between No.1 and No.2 terminal of
connector D03 and No.6 terminal of ignition
switch C13.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is a short circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
D03(1) - C13(6) ≥ 1MΩ

D03(2) - C13(6) ≥ 1MΩ

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 6.
No >Repair or replace harness.

6. Check driver safety belt pre-tensioner

(a). Replace driver safety belt pre-tensioner.
(b). Connect diagnostic device to check if the trouble has been shot.

Check if the trouble code exists?
Yes>To step 7.
No >Replace driver safety belt pre-tensioner.

7. Check SRS ECU

(a). Replace SRS ECU module.
(b). Connect diagnostic device to check if the trouble has been shot.

Check if the trouble code exists?
Yes >Find the causes from other symptoms.
No > Replace SRS ECU。
