(i). Remove the piston pin.
• As shown in the figure, pry out the piston
pin snap ring carefully.

•Lightly knock the piston pin and take down
the piston pin in the arrow direction.
•Separate the piston from the connecting
rod.

17. Check the piston subassembly
(a). Check the cylinder wall for noticeable scratches, unevenness or upheaval. If the
cylinder wall is very coarse, scratched or uneven, replace the cylinder block.

(b). As shown in the figure, use the bore gauge
to measure the cylinder block diameter at

15mm 1 positions ① , ② and ③ respectively, and
the specified diameter is 82.005~82.015
2 mm. If the measurement exceeds the
specified value, replace the cylinder block.

(c). Check the piston for wear and crack; if the piston is damaged, replace the piston.
