(e). Install the crankshaft (for the horizontal
engine).
PROMPT:
Apply a suitable amount of lubricating oil onto the
main bearing upper bush of the cylinder block.

(f). Install the main bearing cap.
NOTICE:
The arrow on the main bearing cap points to the
direction of the first main bearing cap.
PROMPT:
Apply a suitable amount of lubricating oil onto the
main bearing lower bush of the main bearing cap.

(g). Pre-tighten the main bearing cap fixing
bolts, tighten the fixing bolts in the
3 2 1 2 3
sequence as shown in the figure with the
torque of 65±9.8 N•m, and then further
rotate the bolts by 90° + 13.5° .
