15. Install the crankshaft
The mark on the crankshaft represents
the main bearing lower bush (bearing cap
bush).

(a). Install the crankshaft signal panel and the
crankshaft signal panel fixing bolt (arrow
direction), tighten it using the torque of
10±1.5 N•m, and then further rotate it by
90° ±13.5° .
PROMPT:
The crankshaft signal panel can be installed at
only one position, and holes are staggered.

(b). Install the thrust plate onto the cylinder
block between the 2nd cylinder and the 3rd
cylinder, ensuring that the side with the oil
groove facing toward the crankshaft.
PROMPT:
•Clean the thrust plate and the cylinder blockinner
wall.
• Apply a suitable amount of lubricating oil onto
the cylinder block and the thrust plate.
