(h). Pre-tighten the main bearing cap lateral
1 2 3 fixing bolts, tighten the fixing bolts in the
sequence as shown in the figure with the
torque of 20±3 N•m, and then further
rotate the bolts by 90° + 13.5° .

(i). Install the piston subassembly.

(j). Align the convex groove on the crankshaft
chain wheel 2 with the concave groove on
the chain wheel, as shown in the figure,
and then Install the crankshaft chain wheel
2.
PROMPT:
Apply a suitable amount of lubricating oil onto
the contact surface between the crankshaft chain
wheel 2 and the crankshaft.

(k). Install the cylinder head.
(l). Install the valve chamber cover.
(m). Install the timing chain.
(n). Install the engine oil cooler.
(o). Install the crankshaft position sensor.
(p). Install the coarse oil-gas separator unit.

(q). Install the engine right mounting bracket
and engine right mounting bracket fixing
bolt (arrow direction), and tighten the
bolt with the torque of 40 N•m (for the
longitudinal engine).
