(e). As shown in the figure, evenly apply the
Loctite 5970 sealant onto the mounting
surface of the oil pan weldment.
Sealant line width: 2 ~ 3 mm
NOTICE:
•The Loctite 5970 sealant must be applied onto
inner side of the fixing bolt of oil pan weldment.
• Before application of the Loctite 5970 sealant,
check the type and validity of the Loctite 5970

•The oil pan must be fitted within 5 minutes after
the Loctite 5970 sealant is applied.
•The Loctite 5970 sealant shall not exceed the
specified thickness; otherwise the residual
sealant may enter into the oil pan and block the
engine oil filter strainer.
(f). Insert the positioning pin (arrow direction)
into the diagonal threaded hole of upper
body of oil pan.

(g). Align the positioning pin, and Install the oil
pan weldment.
(h). Fix these four corners of the oil pan
weldment using the oil pan weldment fixing
bolts (arrow direction).

(i). Remove the positioning pin.
