(d). Cut the tube nozzle at the front mark ( the
nozzle diameter is about 3 mm).

(e). As shown in the figure, evenly apply the 12C
Loctite 5970 sealant onto the mounting
surface of the oil pan weldment.
Sealant line width: 2~3 mm

NOTICE:
•The Loctite 5970 sealant must be applied onto
inner side of the fixing bolt of oil pan weldment.
•Before application of the Loctite 5970 sealant,
check the type and validity of the Loctite 5970

•The oil pan must be fitted within 5 minutes after
the Loctite 5970 sealant is applied.
•The Loctite 5970 sealant shall not exceed the
specified thickness; otherwise the residual
sealant may enter into the oil pan and block the
engine oil filter strainer.

(f). Insert the positioning pin (arrow direction)
into the diagonal threaded hole of upper
body of oil pan.
