REMOVAL AND INSTALLTING

1. Remove the oil pan weldment (for the
longitudinal engine)
(a). Remove the drain bolt (arrow direction).

(b). Remove the oil pan weldment.
•Remove these 20 oil pan weldment fixing
bolts (arrow direction).
•Remove the oil pan weldment.
PROMPT:
• If the removal is difficult, use a rubber hammer
to knock the part slowly.
•When detaching parts, prevent the bonding face
and adjacent parts from being damaged by
fuwx12C191 tools.

2. Install the oil pan weldment (for the
longitudinal engine)
(a). Use the sealant scraper to remove the
residual Loctite sealant 5970 on the
mounting surface of oil pan weldment.

(b). Remove the residual Loctite 5970 sealant
on the mounting surface of the oil pan
weldment (for example, use the rotary
plastic brush).
(c). Clean the mounting surface to make sure
that it is free from oil or grease.
