16 . Install the reverse gear assembly.
(a) Install the reverse gear needle bearing.
CAUTION

• When installed in the gear, the needle
bearing shall be no higher than the gear
end, or check the installation position or
replace the bearing.
• When installing the needle bearing, shake
it and check for missing needle. Replace
it in case of any damage.
• During installation, apply some lubricant
to the needle bearing, to avoid wear
caused by dry friction.

(b) Install the reverse gear.

17 . Install the fifth gear synchronizer
assembly.
(a) Install the synchronizer gear sleeve, gear hub
and sliding block.
