Employee Assistance Program — KGA NEW!
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential counseling and referral service, available to you and your
dependents at no cost. The EAP will help with almost any personal concern. Any problem that might distract you at work
would be appropriate for the EAP. The most common issues brought to the EAP are: managing stress, depression, parent-
ing issues, substance abuse, financial issues and other temporary setbacks.
Services provided by EAP:
• Access: Toll-free line answered twenty-four (24) hours, seven (7) days per week.
• Every caller reaches a licensed EAP counselor or work-life specialist within the first 60 seconds.
• Client can refer employees to KGA for support as determined necessary.
• Individual employees who are referred to KGA can access short-term, face-to-face counseling for
employees and adult household members. Each caller will be able to access up to three (3) counseling sessions per issue.
• Topics for which individuals can receive counseling, consultations and referrals include, but are not limited to the following:
- Alcohol & Drug Concerns
- Anxiety
- Child / Elder Care Concerns
- Chronic Illness
- Depression
- Eating Disorders
- Family & Relationship Concerns
- Gambling
- Mindfulness
- Nutrition / Weight Issues
- Partner Violence
- Smoking Cessation
- Sleep Issues
- Stress Management
Voluntary Life & Disability - Colonial Life
Northbridge Companies offers you the chance to purchase Life and Disability coverage through Colonial Life. You can find
more information about coverage and cost on the Paycom self-service portal.
401(k) Retirement Plan - American Funds
Northbridge Companies helps you save for retirement through our American Funds Retirement 401(k) plan.
Company contributions to your account: Northbridge Companies will contribute $0.25 for each dollar you contribute up to
contributions rates of 6% of pay. It is recommended that you contribute at least 6% to take advantage of the match. Experts
believe that you will need to save between 10% to 15% of your earnings for retirement, so consider a higher contribution
rate if possible. Information for this plan will be mailed directly to your home.
