 and endure their humiliation, etc.”  (Regarding these disciplined    רקֶ ֹּב םוֹי לָכְבּ םָדָאָה לֵבּקְַיֶּשׁ ,ךְרַָבְּתִי 'ה הָוִּצֶּשׁ וּהֶזְו .ןֵכּ םַגּ
 people who exercise restraint and absorb their hurt) The pasuk                                                                                                               4
 states (Shoftim 5:31) “and My beloved ones will shine with the   .םֵיּקְַל וֹשְׁפַנ לַעְו וֹבִּל לַע ברֶֶעְו
 radiance of the sun at its peak power.”
 [ 6 ] {Subordination to mitzvot} By virtue of this quality, man    ב"ל םירִָבְדּ( וּניִזֲאַה תַשׁרָָפְבּ אוּה שׁרָֹפְמ ארָקְִמ תֶמֱאֶבוּ
 will be constantly aware of his subordination to mitzvot and in so    תֶא םֻ וַּצְתּ רֶשֲׁא 'וֹגְו םירִָבְדַּה לָכְל םֶכְבַבְל וּמיִשׂ" :)ו"מ
 doing he will fulfill the instruction of Hashem’s Torah (Devarim
 11:18) “and you shall place these words of Mine on your hearts,”    אלֹ יִכּ ,תאֹּזַה הרָוֹתַּה ירְֵבִדּ לָכּ תֶא תוֹשֲׂעַל רֹמְשִׁל םֶכיֵנְבּ
 as I wrote above.   וּוַּצְיֶּשׁ ,םירִָבְדַּה רוּאֵבּ ."םֶכיֵיַּח אוּה יִכּ םֶכִּמ אוּה קירֵ רָבָד

 [ 7 ] {Effect of Torah}  His Torah and the Berachot he recites to    ,ןיִשֲׂעָהְו ןיִואָלַּה ףַא וּנְיַהְדּ ,הרָוֹתַּה לָכּ רֹמְשִׁל םֶהיֵנְבּ תֶא
 HaKadosh Baruch Hu will be pure and will not be tainted by a
 spirit of defilement.  But that would not be the case if one was   .הָבָשֲׁחַמַּהְו רוּבִּדַּה ַחֹכְבּ םיִיוּלְתֶּשׁ
 not careful with his words and used speech that is forbidden, as
 forces of defilement would hover over these forbidden words.     קרַ  ךְָיַּשׁ  הֶזֶּשׁ  בֵשׁוֹחְו  ,וָנָע  םָדָאָה  הֶשׂוֹע  ערָָה  רֶצֵיַּהְו
 Spirits of impurity seize those words of defilement and use them
 to defile any subsequent words of sanctity that he would speak,    .טוּשָׁפּ שׁיִא אוּהֶשׁ ,וֹל אלֹ לָבֲא ,הרָוֹתַּבּ םיִלוֹדְגּ םיִשָׁנֲאַל
 as described in the holy Zohar, which I cited above following    םיִכירְִצ ל ֹּכַהְו ,םֶכיֵיַּח איִה יִכּ ,רָבָדַּה ןֵכ אלֶֹּשׁ רַמָא הֶזָלְו
 the words of the Rambam.  For this reason Chazal composed
 this request at the conclusion of the Amidah: “Open my heart to   .םיִיַּח
 Your Torah,” which follows the request of Hashem to “Protect
 my mouth (words) from bad,” because if one does not protect his    םיִנָיְנִעָה לַע הרָיִמְשַּׁה תַבוֹח לֶשׁ רָמֲאַמַּה וּנדְַחִיֶּשּׁ הַמוּ
 words from bad, it is pointless to pray “Open my heart to your
 Torah.”       וּלֵּא לַע ליִטִּה בוּתָכַּהֶשׁ ,וּניִארֶָשׁ םוּשִּׁמ ,רוּבִּדַּה ַח ֹּכ לֶשׁ

 [ 8 ] {Treasured}  In so doing he will fulfill the words of Mishle    רֹצְנ" :)ד"י ד"ל םיִלִּהְתּ( רַמָאְו ,תוּטרְָפִבּ הרָיִמְשׁ םיִנָיְנִעָה
 (2:1) “My son, if you will take my words and my mitzvot will    וֹנוֹשְׁלוּ ויִפּ רֵמֹשׁ" :)ג"כ א"כ יֵלְשִׁמ( רַמָאְו ,"'וֹגְו ךְָנוֹשְׁל
 be embraced (treasured) within you,” meaning, treasured within
 your heart, to be careful through them not to stumble into sinning    םיִיַּחַה יִכּ םַעַטַּהְו ,הרֵָתְי הרָיִמְשׁ הֶזָל ךְירִָצֶּשׁ עַמְשַׁמ ,"'וֹגְו
 with one’s mouth.
                                  .ןוֹשָׁלַּה דַיְבּ תֶוָמַּהְו
 [ 9 ] {The greatness of upholding mitzvot that society neglects}  It
 is well known that a large part of the Torah including the mitzvot    ךְוּרָבּ שׁוֹדָקַּה - הָבוֹט הָבָשֲׁחַמ :).'מ ןיִשׁוּדּקִ( ל"ַזֲח וּרְמָא
 that  are  dependent  on  the  power  (the  consequences)  of  one’s
 speech are very weakly observed because of our many sins, and    ךְוּרָבּ שׁוֹדָקַּה ןיֵא - הָערָ הָבָשֲׁחַמ .הֶשֲׂעַמְל הָּפרְָצְמ אוּה
 this does not reflect well at all on the glory of Hashem Yitbarach.     שׁוֹדָקַּה ןיֵא ,רַמוֹל וֹל הָיָה הרָוֹאְכִלְו .הֶשֲׂעַמְל הָּפרְָצְמ אוּה
 The Sefer Chasidim has already pointed out to us that a mitzvah
 which  has  no  following  is  like  the  mitzvah  of  an  unattended    םָנְמָא ?הָּפרְָצְמ ןוֹשְׁל יאַמ ,הֶשֲׂעַמְל הָּבְשׁוֹח אוּה ךְוּרָבּ
