 that is contrary to the Will of HaKadosh Baruch Hu, can be
explained with a parable: It is comparable to an individual who
 was given by the king 248 weaving looms together with bolts of
 wool and linen with which to weave beautiful fabric.
of these looms could greatly enrich this man if he used them
 appropriately. Apart from this, he would receive great honor .
 from the king who displayed his work and glorified himself in
front of other kings, how a person with such great talents could
be found in his kingdom. On the other hand, if he were to ruin
the materials given to him, he would be liable to give a detailed
 accounting for his actions.
Moreover, there was one great technologically advanced weaving
 loom which would enable this man to profit more than from all
of the other looms combined because its speed of production was
lightning fast. But the opposite was also true. If the man did not
take care of it properly he could ruin its production output and
the loss would be as great as the loss of all of the other looms
 combined. .
 Although this man had to carefully supervise all of the machines
to assure their proper operation, it was critically important that
 this man maintain his awareness of the operation of this great
machine throughout the entire day so that it would not break
 down, since the output of one hour of operation of this great
machine was equal to the combined output of all of the other
248 looms. The machine had to be properly maintained since the
 slightest flaw in its operation could result in an awesome loss.

The king described in this parable is the King of All Kings, .
 HaKadosh Baruch Hu. The 248 looms are a metaphor for man’s .

to us. It is as if each organ speaks to man saying “use me to ןַתִּנְו .

 comparable to the power of one’s speech that HaKadosh Baruch
Hu implanted in man’s Nefesh. Using speech, man can remedy
 all of his organs. One’s mouth is as quick as lightning since in
