Mazal Elul, Book 2, 17th perek:
There are three general categories of Tumah, three states of defilement: (1) .םֶהָבּ
defilement (impurity) that comes as a result of coming into contact with a
corpse, (2) defilement that evolves from a seminal discharge or emission
 and (3) the defilement of a Mehtzorah. The person who becomes impure as דיִמְלַתּ אוּה םִא ןֵכֶּשׁ לָכְו ,לֵארְָשִׂי שׁיִא םַתְסִבּ וּלִּפֲא וּהֶזְו
a result of contact with a corpse is only sent outside of the Encampment of
 the Shehchinah. One who is impure because of an emission or a seminal אוּה םִאְו .וֹרוּבִּדּ תֶא רֹמְשִׁל ויָלָע בוּיִּחַה לָטֻּמ הָמַּכּ ,םָכָח
discharge is additionally sent outside the Encampment of the Levi’im. But
 the Mehtzorah is sent outside of (society entirely) all three encampments ,הֶמוֹדַּכְו םירִָבְדּ תַאָנוֹאְו תוּליִכרְוּ ערָָה ןוֹשָׁל לַע רֵבוֹע
(including the outermost Encampment of Israel), as the pasuk instructs us
 (Vayikrah 13:46) “He shall remain isolated, his dwelling will be entirely םִיַמָשׁ דוֹבְכּ הָזַּבְּתִנ אָליֵמִּמ ,רָבָדַּה םֵסרְַפְּתִנ ןוֹמָהֶה יֵניֵעְבוּ
outside of the encampment.” Even other people that are Tameh and living
 outside of society may not associate together (each one must remain ,רוּבִּדַּה ַחֹכְבּ ןיִיוּלְתֶּשׁ ,ןיִואָלַּה וּלֵּא לָכּ וּשֲׂעַנְו ,הֶז ידְֵי לַע
separate and isolated) (Gemara Pesachim 67a). (Regarding this) Chazal
 have taught (Gemara Arachin 16b) “What is unique to the Mehtzorah, that :)ב"ל ב"כ ארָקְִיַּו( לַע הֶז ידְֵי לַע רֵבוֹעְו ,םֶהיֵניֵעְבּ רקְֵפֶהְכּ
each one of them must remain separate and isolated? (Answer) His Lashon
 Hara created a dispute that kept apart man and wife or man and his fellow רקְֵפֶהְכּ 'ה תוְֹצִמ וּשֲׂעַנֶּשׁ ,"יִשׁדְקָ םֵשׁ תֶא וּלְלַּחְת אלְֹו"
man, therefore he is punished in that he must remain isolated, totally apart
 from society.” .הֶז ידְֵי לַע םֶהיֵניֵעְבּ
