OBJECTIVES RESEARCH BACKGROUND

METHODOLOGY
Questionnaire surveys were conducted to collect data from Hong Kong
teenagers on their attitudes towards colours and emotions on different social
media. Qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis, and Statistical Product and
Service Solutions (SPSS) were utilised to analyse the data to explore the close
correlation between colours and emotions.
FINDINGS
ABOUT THE INVESTIGATOR
The study strongly supports the connection between colors and emotions.
I am a final year student who studies People systematically choose bright colors when they are joyful and dark colors
Fashion Design. After 4 years when they are upset, showing that emotional consistency is the most common
studying at THEi, I learnt a lot of skills reason. This trend shows the psychological importance of color in self-exposure
in sewing and fabric development. and emotion control and applies to fashion design and consumer research.
Besides, I am familiar with Adobe
Illustrator and Precreate to design my
collection. During the study, my FYP
supervisor, Dr Eve CHAN, gave me
many opportunities and support. In
the future, I would like to join different
competitions and participate in the
fashion industry, such as knitwear
design and costume design.
