REVIEW OF THE EXISTING INFRASTRUCTURE AND UTILITIES

            Transportation

At present, the primary modes of transportation

inside the school vicinity are cars, tricycles and
motorcycles. These modes of transportation are
not environment friendly and against the pillars of

            sustainable environment. With that, transport
throughout the campus shall be delivered in a

manner which is reliable, safe, accessible,
            environment-friendly, dependable, efficient and
            comfortable.

The design of the transport system inside ISU

should have a fixed dispatch time and short
intervals between vehicles during peak demand
periods. Operating hours shall be responsive to

the needs of visitors and students. Mode of
transport shall comply with national standards and

international vehicle safety conventions. There MULTI-STOREY CAR PARK
should be designated boarding or stops for
security. Also, it is highly recommended that

transport vehicles inside the campus are those
using electric drives and/or running on alternative

fuels such as electric or solar.

A common parking for non-green motorized

vehicles for guests and students can be provided.
This can lessen the carbon footprint inside the

campus. As for employees, they can only park in
the designated parking near their offices or faculty
rooms. Communal parking is a good approach for

carbon neutrality. VARIETY OF GREEN TRANSPORT THAT CAN BE USED INSIDE ISABELA STATE UNIVERSITY
