G. TRANSPORTATION and PARKING

It is highly recommended to encourage the use of bicycles, e-tricycles and e-jeeps within the campus to support a green
and healthy lifestyle. Communal Parking should also be given utmost importance as it promotes less carbon footprint and

walkability in the campus. The use of Plants as vertical shades in the parking areas can contribute to the sustainability of
          the campus.

          H. SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

                                                                                                                                                                                             Plants as screens
          1. Alternative Source of Energy

As recommended by the Board of Regents of CHED on the use of alternative sources of energy, the campus should employ

the use of solar panels. They can be installed on the roofs of the buildings and as solar trellises above the vegetable crops
in the field. Such approach is less land-intensive.

          2. Bioswales

In order to support flood control measures in the campus, the construction of bioswales. as a natural approach in addressing
the flash flood concern. it also offers good landscaping.
                                                                                                                                                                                                  Solar trellis

          I. EASE OF ACCESS AND CIRCULATION

It is significant to consider easy way finding inside the campus. Aside from the designated zones, strategically positioned
signages and campus directory will greatly help visitors and even new employees and students. It is also important to provide

connecting walkways and if possible Even connecting bridges, between buildings in one zone. Major and minor roads should
be clearly provided with covered sidewalks and bicycle lanes.

          J. UNIVERSAL ACCESS

The whole campus and each building should uphold inclusive design. They should be designed with high consideration for Provision of ramps
persons with disabilities. PWD toilets, ramps and grab rails should be provided all over campus. Renovations of existing
buildings should seek to improve access for the disabled in a manner compatible with their historic integrity.
