The Musa’adah Khaira Siswa (MKS) Aid Project
The MKS aid project was to give a one-time aid in a range of RM100
to RM200 of financial assistance to help students who face
difficulties following the delay of physical registration due to the
increase in the COVID-19 epidemic cases. This is due to
instructions from The Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia
(MOHE) that all higher education institutions (IPTs) postpone the
physical/face-to-face registration for new and current students for
admission to the campus in October 2020 (Berita Harian, 2020).
Thus the MKS aid was an initiative to help students of Higher
Learning (IPT) postponement of student registration at IPT has
indirectly affected the students who were present to register and plan
the trip in advance before the registration date. This project was
implemented in the month of October 2020 (Berita Harian, the 8th
of April 2020)
