TO SERVE THANKSGIVING MEALS

On Thanksgiving Day, Lions Hermelene Thomas, Gloria Antoine and
Yolande Cadore (Brooklyn Crown Heights Lions Club) organized a joint
mission to feed the hungry, with parishioners from Our Lady of
Charity R.C. Church in Brooklyn.

By 8:30 a.m. Lion Yolande was collecting cooked and prepared food
from various church members. At the church hall, Lion Hermelene was
preparing to receive the 140 individually wrapped containers with a
sumptuous Thanksgiving meal, for distribution to several shelters
located in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Thanks to Lion Gloria who cooked four (4) turkeys for this event.
It was indeed a fulfilling experience !
“R-O-A-R” to Lions Hermelene, Gloria and Yolande for their
humanitarian “SERVICE with a SMILE.”
