Loyal Guest Honored at the
Aruba Marriott Ocean Club
PALM BEACH - Recently the Aruba Tourism Author-
ity had the great pleasure of honoring a very special
guest who is a loyal and friendly visitor of Aruba at the
Marriott Ocean Club as a Goodwill Ambassador.
The symbolic honorary title is presented in the name
of the Minister of Tourism as a token of appreciation to
guests who visit Aruba for 20-to-34 consecutive years.
The honoree was Mrs. Charlene Richardson of Pea-
body, Massachusetts, celebrating more than 20 con-
secutive annual visits to Aruba!
Charlene is a regular guest at the Marriott Ocean Club
and she and her family love Aruba very much because
of the safety, it’s a peaceful friendly island with beauti-
ful beaches, and also a totally relaxing island. The cer-
tificate was presented by the Aruba Tourism Authority,
together with General Manager Mr. Erwin Noguera, Ex-
ecutive Secretary Lisette Bouwman, and Lillian Britten
from the Marriott Ocean Club.q

PALM BEACH - Recently the Aruba Tourism Authority had
the great pleasure of honoring a very nice couple who
are loyal and friendly visitors of Aruba at the Marriott Surf
Club as Distinguished Visitors.
The symbolic honorary title is presented in the name of the
Minister of Tourism as a token of appreciation to guests
who visit Aruba for 10-to-19 consecutive years.
The honorees were Mr. Gary and Mrs. Jan Smith of Can-
ton, Ohio, celebrating more than 10 consecutive annual
visits to Aruba!
Gary and Jan are regular guests at the Marriott Surf Club
and they love Aruba very much because of the safety,
the beautiful sunsets, friendly locals, variety of food and
the feeling of home-away-from-home. The certificate
was presented by Ms. Amayra Boekhoudt representing
the Aruba Tourism Authority together with Executive Ad-
ministrative Assistant to the General Manager Ms. Jenny
Boekhoudt from the Marriott Surf Club.q
