Sedunia” at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP).

(CITREX 2013) exhibition organized by researchers from the staff and stu-
dent categories highlighting the latest research projects.
3. Participation in the First and Second National Conference on Knowledge
Transfer (KTP01 & KTP02) to present papers.
Human Capital Development Graduates intern acquired knowledge and skills related to extraction technology
and raised the value added of agarwood byproducts.
PROBLEMS IDENTIFIED
1. Change of industry cooperation partners from TPM Biotech Sdn. Bhd. to Kedaik Agar-
wood Sdn. Bhd. due to company management issues.
2. The extractor needs to be further improved to outfit with available industry extractor.
KNOWLEDGE TRANSFERRED
1. Various pre-treatment soaking techniques. 6

4. Modification of extractors.
