EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Biofeedback is a technique used to help individuals to do self-control (mind, emotion,
and heart). The physiological data used in this technique are the real state of the
individual in certain spans of time. The Biofeedback equipment is paired with the
client to take the readings of changes in physiological data (EEG, PPG, HRV, EMG,
GSR). This physiological information is a result of psychological reactions where any
psychological changes would affect physiology. 51

The goal of training, rehabilitation, and therapy performed is to change the psycho-
logical components that are difficult to be seen and measured. An intervention
program carried out using this technique can be implemented more effectively
because the counsellors and students are aware of what the status of students’
recoveries and how to help them make the change. Biofeedback techniques not
only measure the extents of the student's degrees of recovery but can be used to
                                             provide them with intervention programs.

This program was conducted with the aim to train individuals to apply Biofeedback
techniques in the detection of drug addiction effects. In addition, the individuals
were also trained to use Biofeedback therapy to overcome the effects of drug addic-
tion and to train former addicts involved in drug recuperation by using Biofeedback
                                             techniques.
