•  60 calendar days for normal delivery, miscarriage or abortion
             •  78 calendar days for caesarian delivery


             a.) Maternity Leave shall be applicable only for the first 4 normal deliv-
             eries, C-Section and abortion.

             b.) Upon confirmation of pregnancy, the eligible employee may file for
             a maternity leave. The same must be duly approved by the employ-
             ee’s supervisor and submit the same to HRD.


             c.) In case there are any changes on the availed ML period, the em-
             ployee must notify both her supervisor and the HR Department. Any
             extension of this period, may be charged against the employee’s Ser-
             vice Incentive Leave credits. If the same has been exhausted already,
             the employee is no longer entitled to a pay.

             d.) An employee whose application was not approved at the time she
             took leave or fails to report to work after the period has expired shall
             be considered as AWOL and may be subject to appropriate discipli-
             nary action.



        C. PATERNITY LEAVE


               5.9. A married male employee may avail of the Paternity leave to
        lend support to his legitimate wife, who has delivered a child or suffered
        a miscarriage or abortion, during the period of recovery and/or nursing a
        newborn, subject to the following conditions:


             a.  Applicable to the first four (4) deliveries of the legitimate wife.

             b.  Paternity Leave with full pay shall be for a period of seven (7) work-
             ing days.
