 Glaucoma - Cannabis lowers an increased intraocular pressure by up to

 Since the Middle Ages it has been known that epilepsy can be treated
with cannabis. As early as 1980, a prospective, randomised, double-blind
study showed that some patients had good anticonvulsant effects. More
recent studies have shown that cannabinoids have anticonvulsant

properties and can therefore be taken as a preventive measure in
epilepsy.
