Meteorology

Wind from the south to southwest

We can also have warm and somewhat

hot summers when the wind comes

                from directions between south and
                southwest. This often feels oppressive

and humid, with a possibility of

                thunderstorms forming throughout the

day. The high moisture content will

make the air hazy. It is usually quite

cloudy, with the possibility of night fog.

                Weather forecast

Typically, the day starts with foggy mist, cloudy in the morning. In the

afternoon, some sun with the possibility of thunderstorms, especially over the

                                                                                             o
southwestern part of the country. Day temperatures between 22 and 27°C.
The wind will be light to fresh from the southwest.

                Wind from north to east

When there is high pressure over
Central Scandinavia, we get wind from

the north to east. To the east of the

high pressure, dry and slightly cool air

                from Northern Scandinavia or

                northern Russia moves down over

                Denmark.

The weather will be sunny because

the air is very dry. After passing over sea areas (the Baltic Sea), it can collect

moisture, and a few cumulus clouds can form. This weather type gives clear,

                cool nights with light winds.

                Weather forecast

We will have sunny weather with day temperatures between 18 and 23°C and

at night between 7 and 12°C. The wind will be light to fresh from the northeast.
