When winter turns to spring, the mild air often comes from the southwest!
Weather forecast
Hazy and foggy weather with temperatures ranging from 5 to 8°C. The wind will
be moderate to fresh from the southwest. Fall and spring weather are
characterized by a struggle between the polar front and the tropical front.
This results in typical warm and cold fronts.
A warm front occurs when warm air advances at the expense
of colder air.
A cold front occurs when cold air advances by penetrating
under warmer air.

3.8 Fronts
A front is a boundary between two air masses with different temperatures
and/or humidity. Due to the different physical properties, the two air masses
are reluctant to mix with each other.
