From the Desk of Head of Department

It gives me immense pleasure to pen a few words as prologue to our

in-house magazine 'MANTHAN 2019' exclusively meant for
churning out the latent writing talent which bears immense
potentiality of sharpening communication skills as part of overall
personality development of students. I congratulate all the

contributors and the editorial board for bringing out such a beautiful
magazine.

Empowerment of students for their all round development through

education is our cherished motto. Today education means much
more than merely acquiring knowledge. It is acquisition of
knowledge, skills & conceptual competencies, building character
and improving employability of our young talents, who are going to

hold the future leadership in the Hospitality Industry. Measures
initiated by the Honorable Management, steps taken by the college
administration, the willing contribution of the teaching and non-
teaching staff and overwhelming response and enthusiastic participation of students in the institute activities in

the recent past are appreciated as always. It was a personal honor for myself to be nominated for an MDP program
at ASCI (Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad) & Les Roches, International School of Hotel
Management, Marbella, Spain. Always a pleasure sharing the additional insights received in the fields of Digital
Marketing, Leadership skills, Team Building, Latest trends in Hospitality & Tourism Sector education,

Destination Management, Tourism & Sustainable Development Goals & above all Institution Building.

I am proud of being a part of such a wonderful institution & happy to share that our Institute is celebrating its
Golden Jubilee this year with many events & Industry - Academia interface programs in the pipeline. Come on

let's give our best and make this institution a modern temple of learning through our diligence, devotion and
