Diminishment
• Can be used in combination with rebuilding strategies

• Use if the organization is subject to a victim crisis and does have a
previous crisis history or unfavorable prior organization reputation

• Use for any crisis that is preventable

Rebuilding • Use if the crisis involves an accident and the organization does
have a previous crisis history or unfavorable prior reputation
• Can be used in combination with diminishment strategies

• Use to supplement the previous three strategies
