         Enrollment and Communication




         24. Describe your Enrollment and Communication approach.

          Filice takes employee communications very seriously. In light of constantly-evolving rules and reg-

          ulations, it is more important than ever to make sure that employees understand the benefits they
          are provided, as well as their rights and obligations. We have tremendous in-house and outside

          resources available to ensure the appropriate communication related to all benefit programs. Our
          role includes responsibility for the following areas:



                   ● ● Conduct an annual communication planning meeting to discuss enrollment and devel-
                       op a consistent, cohesive communication strategy


                   ● ● Review all employee communications and provide recommendations for improvement


                   ● ● Coordinate a web-based technology communication


                   ● ● Contribute content for employee newsletters

                   ● ● Provide communication support on new benefit plans/programs


                   ● ● Create employee enrollment forms


                   ● ● Organize and participate in benefit fairs


                   ● ● Coordinate communication materials to ensure delivery, quality and consistency with
                       employer’s brand from vendor




         25. What technology or technologies do you use to communicate with and enroll employees?

          Filice has designed a series of customizable communication tools to help your employees under-

          stand their benefits and appreciate the value of the programs you provide for them. In conjunction
          with open enrollment, Filice will create and update on-line and hard-copy employee communica-

          tion materials, coordinate carrier presentations and organize health fairs and employee education
          meetings. Open enrollment gives employees an opportunity to engage their providers, learn about

          the programs available to them and, hopefully, maximize what is offered. We will assist in planning
          events that are attractive and educational to employees. Finally, Filice will help promote the event

          through customized posters, flyers and e-communication. As far as ongoing communication and
          support, California ISO employees and their dependents can contact Filice’s dedicated account

          management staff via phone or email.
