create it in conjunction with preparation for the Open Enrollment period. If we are a long way out
from OE, and if the HR department feels it is helpful, we do like the opportunity to come out and
have an educational meeting for employees to review existing benefits. This provides an opportuni-
ty for the employees to meet the account manager soon after the transition.
21. Do you provide employees with claims assistance at initial claim? At appeal?
Employee Advocacy is at the core of our service model, and as such, every Filice client has a ded-
icated Account Management team, comprised of two account managers. This is in addition to a
Benefits Consultant and Account Executive. Day to day service issues would be handled by this
team, including claims resolution. Typically, an employee or dependent, or an HR representative,
will contact the Filice Account Manager regarding a claims issue, and we then take it from there.
Once we have an understanding of the issue, and the required documentation, we contact the re-
spective carrier and aggressively advocate on our client’s behalf. Please note that we are not calling
an 800 number, but rather, due to our Premier Status with all the carriers, we have a dedicated
