26. What enrollment and communication services does your firm handle and what do you
outsource to carriers or other vendors?
We manage the full cycle of benefits programs/administration for many of our clients, including cli-
ents that work paper-based and with technology systems. Our service team is well versed working
with most of the benefits administration systems, and protocols/processes are in place to maintain
accurate records of all activity, including enrollments and terminations. Typically, we meet with the
client to initially establish a system and corresponding processes, that meet client objectives and
comfort levels, and then dedicate the appropriate service team resources to this process. Our
goal in establishing and managing this process is to remove the HR team from this work, freeing up
their time for other more strategic initiatives.
27. Does your firm have bilingual support?
Yes, we have internal bilingual client service mangers and benefit administrators to support clients.
28. Do you help employees with one on one decision support at time of enrollment?
Yes ,we know medical needs are very diverse within an employee population, and we work one on
one to ensure employees are informed, selecting the plans most appropriate for their needs and
the needs of the families.
Compliance
29. Does your company have a compliance officer or other compliance leader?
The Filice Compliance Team utilizes proprietary tools to ensure clients are meeting all their regu-
latory requirements under ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, Section 125, etc. as well as State laws. We
have clients all over the U.S. and can provide regulatory resources both nationally and locally (State
& City). As part of the employee communications tools, we ensure all benefits websites are DOL
compliant according to plan document and disclosure requirements.
Compliance is an important part of the work Filice does for clients. One or two compliance officers
are assigned to each account as well as access to our internal ERISA legal support team.
