pass himself off as a peasant, artist, crafts-
man or merchant being able to supplant
any identity that would allow him to access
fenced places. All necessary techniques for
this purpose were called Ninjutsu and the
people who performed these tasks, ninjas.
A ninja was not always a professional
dedicated to it. Occasionally, men, women
and children were employed on a temporary
basis, although they did not have any specific
training but because of their family circum-
stances, skills, knowledge of the environ-
ment, etc., could fulfill the mission.
In this way, we must understand that a nin-
ja was from a samurai specialized in espio-
nage and infiltration techniques to a simple
peasant without any range or caste.
The professional ninja had to deepen in
three of the fundamental principles of which
had to make use:
- Ten 天 (sky)
- Chi 地 (earth)
- Jin 人 (man)
