SUMMARY OF COSMOLOGY

“In the beginning God created”

COSMOLOGY IS WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT HOW THE WORLD BEGAN
Inspiration told men what to write about him.
The Bible is perfect because God
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God…,” (2 Timothy 3:16)

“For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but
holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”
(2 Peter 1:21)

Trinity There is only one God, but he exists
in three persons: Father, Son, and
Spirit.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Ghost:” (Matthew 28:19)
Creation God created the whole world in 6 days,
approximately 6,000 years ago.
“In the beginning God created the
heaven and the earth… And God saw every thing that he had made, and,
behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the
sixth day.” (Genesis 1:1, 31)
Some people belie- ERROR ALERT!
ve that the world
has evolved over
millions of years, instead of being created by God
in six days. They believe that people came
from animals. Some people also believe that Je-
sus was only a man, but the Bible says that he was
both God and man.
PEOPLE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE THAT THE
BIBLE IS THE PERFECT WORD OF GOD HAVE NO WAY OF
KNOWING ABSOLUTE TRUTH.
