DANGERS
IN ADOLESCENCE
FIRST DANGER
“TAKE HEED UNTO THYSELF, AND UNTO THE DOCTRINE; CONTINUE IN
THEM: FOR IN DOING THIS THOU SHALT BOTH SAVE THYSELF, AND THEM
THAT HEAR ”
1 TIMOTHY 4:16
BEHAVE AS IT SHOULD BE
BE CAREFUL OF YOURSELF, IT'S HOW TO SAY: "BE COMPETENT, AS
YOU SHOULD BE." FROM WHERE WE CAN OBTAIN THIS BEHA-
VIOR:
By not hearing the teaching of the
HOME TEACHING
parents, the dangers will be latent
(Prov 4: 1, Prov 6:20). The importance is in learning to hear. Cove-
ring the ears is typical in adolescents. This makes known the rebe-
llion that leads as an inheritance (Eph 4: 11,12).
TEACHING OF THE CHURCH The church is a center of constant
education. One way to escape from
the dangers is to be in it. If the goal is to be teachers (Heb 5:12),
adolescents would be the most suitable students.
NOT BEING CONTINUOUS IS DANGEROUS
You may admit what you learn, but without CONTINUITY you
will not have defeated the danger. It's like some who take the first
pills for their illness, they feel good and then they stop the treat-
6 ment. The danger is even greater if evil returns.
