        5 Manage Accounts and Applications

In most cases municipalities have their own Excel Spreadsheet or Microsoft Access databases of the
        respective indigent register.

Should municipalities want to import their data into Indi-Reg, the information supplied is imperative as part
of Take On Data during system configuration.

In this case, due to the misalignment of the data requirements, most information required by Indi-Reg will
        be missing or incomplete.

✓ To cater for this information miss-match Indi-Reg gives the user the option to Manage a particular
account by Adding or Editing information on that account.

        5.1. Account Search

In the account search page the user can type the full or part of the account number that they wish to view.

✓ If the user searches for part of an account number, a list of accounts containing the pattern as shown
in Figure 5.1.1 will be displayed.
✓ The user must select the required account from the list.
✓ If the full account number is entered, only one account number will be displayed since the system
does not allow for duplicate account numbers

                                                       Figure 5.1.1
