6.3.3. Personal Particulars
The personal particulars of occupants in the household page is meant to capture only adult occupants. This
information will assist the municipality if a report on the total number of adults living in the household is
required.
The list of occupants will be displayed alongside the jobcard and will be saved when the jobcard is saved.

6.4. External Scan
External Scan or external verification is a process where the applicant information is sent to the credit bureau
/ external data vendors to be verified. The information we check includes but is not limited to:
✓ Credit verification
✓ ID validity and deceased status
✓ Matching of surname and first name with the names on the ID book
✓ Deeds information
✓ Judgements against the applicant
✓ Previous 3 Cell phone numbers and address information.
✓ Company or business ownership information
✓ Employment information
External scans in Indi-Reg can be automated whereby the use of Web services will be made.
