Proposed Day-by-Day Itinerary:

Day 1 – Thursday, October 12: Arrival in Porto. Upon arrival at Porto Airport, meet our
local driver for a 20-min private transfer to your accommodations in the heart of the city. After
leaving off your luggage, enjoy the balance of the day at leisure. We suggest you visit the
Kadoorie Mekor Hayim Synagogue. Inaugurated in 1938, this beautiful synagogue is the largest
within the Iberian Peninsula. Its construction was quite significant as members of the Jewish
community in and around Porto previously had to travel to Lisbon for their religious matters, as
no synagogue existed in the area. You might also consider a visit to the Museu Serralves,
Portugal’s first large-scale contemporary art museum. The museum grounds span over 44 acres
and feature beautifully landscaped gardens, perfect for strolling amidst lovely scenery.
