A Letter from the
Friends Board President

What a year this
R e i m a g i n i n g F u n d r a i s i n g i n a C O V I D - 1 9 L a n d s c a p e —
has been! I want to thank everyone on the Friend’s Bo ard for adapting to
our new way of meeting, for supporting our events, and most importantly
for supporting Jack & Jill Center during these unprecedented times.
Like most organizations, Jack & Jill Center had to reimagine fundraising
efforts this year. Our spring event, MEDNAX Flip Flops on the Docks,
was postponed and then conducted virtually. Fortunately, it was a huge
success thanks to generous sponsors, those who attended virtually, and
those who participated in the online auction. In compliance with COVID-
19 rules and regulations, we made the decision to cancel our fall event,
Power Lunch. At the close of the year, we were able to have an intimate, 2020-21 Board of Directors
